Using our own estate grown Centennial (i.e. hops we grow here on the farm), we dose the whirlpool with as much fresh picked hops as we can get in there, and then we proceed as normal with our regular IPA process.
This is a unique beer in the sense that we typically only use dried and pelletized hops, whereas in this beer these are wet (i.e. fresh from the bine) and completely unprocessed. You get a totally different aromatic contribution from them and it leads to a decidedly different beer that we can only make once per year around hop harvest time!
Wet hopped with estate grown Centennial.
Dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka and Motueka.

Smooth, grassy and piney with some resin, hints of green hoppiness, herbal notes, citrus, grapefruit and orange, hints of sweetness and mild bitterness. Interesting hop profile

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy pale yellow color ale with a medium white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones and some green hoppy notes. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones notes, some nice green hoppy notes and a semi-dry finale. Body is full for style with creamy texture and with good carbonation. Solid NEIPA with nice green hoppy hops undertones but not much bitterness.
