33cl bottle. Dark amber pour with a thin beige head. Smells like honey, caramel, resinous and citrus hops. Generic bitterness in the taste, feels like a rather old beer. Refreshing, but nothing special.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick light beige colored head. The aroma is very hoppy at first, citrus peel and pine cones, then the toffee-ish, dried fruit-ish maltyness kicks in. There’s notes of coffee in the far back, and also a faint soapy hint. It’s quite creamy on the palate, full-bodied and semi-dry. The flavor is citrus-bitter and piney, with caramel maltyness and prunes in the back. Somehow I also get a touch of alcohol. Lasting bitter and malty finish. A pretty decent one, although not the perfect beer in any way. It’s a bit unbalanced, too resiny bitter, and I wonder about the alcohol feeling. Well, I finished the bottle without hesitation and wouldn’t have any problems finishing another one, but I’m not picking up more bottles at the store. 150404

Bottled@fonefan. Very deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, wooden and mildly earthy with some slight maltiness to it. Flavour is fruity, floral and mildly nectary, but also has some earthy and crisp maltiness to balance it up. Tasty.

Bottle from Cunningham, many thanks. Hazy dark with thick off-white head. Strong citrus hoppy aroma. Nice citrus hoppy taste with solid malty backbone. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Good.
