[ As Front Street Schwarzbier ].Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, licorice - wood notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. A murky reddish brown beer with a dense, two-finger light beige head. Some lacings. There’s quite a lot of chocolate on the nose, with coffee, some caramel and roasted malts. The flavor is semi-sweet, still it feel quite dry on the palate. Rather high carbonation level. Medium to full body. Roasted malts, chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Lasting finish. A quite decent beer, but it leads my thoughts more to porter than schwarzbier. 150227

Malzig herber, zu stark karbonisierter Antrunk. Süßlich hefig, passende Trockenheit. Gelungenes Bier, das man schnell wieder vergisst. 12/10/9/9//9
