Bottle, on January 5, 2015.Dark red to black color, teal head. Chocolate, hoppy, roasted scent. Hoppy, light roasted, cocoa taste. Cocoa powder aftertaste. Medium to light mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Keg at BrewDog, Stockholm. Dark brown, small head. Coffee and licorice up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Some heaviness from caramel, licoroce, aniseed, pear and mint. Mid bitter finish.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen - dark brown verging black pour with a tan head. Roasted malty and hoppy fruity aroma and taste, choc, caramel, some grassy twiggy hops throughout, pine on the palate, solid bitter finish. Eminent bipa!

Bottle at Ölstugan 1892 Tullen Andra Långgatan. Black with a nice tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, grapefruit, some light pineapple and licorice. The taste was bitter with roasted malt, licorice, grapefruit, caramel and some pineapple. Also some notes of medicine and alcohol.

From tap. Pours haza brown with a small tan head. Roasted malty and grapefruity. Light citrusy. Roasted chocolate malty and solid hops fruity. Roasted dark malty finish.

Tap at the Taphouse, Copenhagen. Poured a murky dark brown with a thin broken tan head. The aroma is grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a nettle grassy hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, chocolate, roasted malt, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2014. Pours murky blackish brown with a creamy mocha head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and tiny fruity with roasted malts, burnt caramel, grapefruit, grass, pine, liquorice, coffee, soil, lemon zest, glue and alcohol. Taste is bitter, slightly fruity and malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, grapefruit, dark roast coffee, bitter, chocolate, grass, pine, liquorice, lemon zest and alcohol. Mouthfeel is round, roasted astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel coffee, chocolate, grapefruit, grass, pine, soil and lemon zest. ruined by the glue smell.
