Cask at the Bootlegger, 07/12/17. Rich copper with a decent egg shell white head. Nose is biscuit malts, toffee, grains, fruit esters ... a touch thin. Taste comprises dried fruits, toffee, biscuit, floral bite, toasted brown sugar. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Passable bitter.

On tap at the brewery. A bright amber pour with a ring of white head; malty aroma with a hint of spice; sweet caramel taste with a malty body; then a biscuity finish, slightly sour and spicy. Certainly tasting like a Scottish beer.
