Cask at the Hop Pole, Aylesbury, 11/07/17. Reddish amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is caramel, light pine, earthy notes, sticky mellow tropical fruits. Taste comprises caramel malts, blood orange, cheesecake base, light grapefruit slither. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent hoppy amber ... best beer on show at the Hop Pole this night.
