Cask at the Bootlegger, 05/07/17. Rich copper with a decent light beige head. Nose isticky biscuit, toffee, light wood, brown bread. Taste comprises treacle toffee, earthy fruit rinds, orange marmalade, biscuit crumbs. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. OK but again I think this cask has seen better days ... on to keg !

Cask hand pump at the brewery. A mid copper coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is nutty malts, hint of brown sugars, liquorice, raisin malt loaf. Flavour is composed of semi sweet layered malts, burnt toffee and little liquorice, plum and raisin. Little chalky in the finish. Palate is medium light, moderate carbonation, hood condition. Good stuff.
