Sample from 50 cl bottle. Deep, red-amber color with a creamy, off white head. Sweet aroma with caramel, yeasts, bread, hay and fruity notes. Taste is sweet. Medium body. Finishes slightly dry with caramel malts and yeasts. Okay.

Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, yeast and dried fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty and sweet caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A dark reddish brown colored beer topped by a dense, off-white to beige head leaving some lacing. Roasted malts, prunes, some herbs and a touch alcohol and pine cones in the aroma. It’s full-bodied, quite effervescent and rather sweet on the palate. Roasted malts, toffee and prunes in the flavor, the sweetness balanced by bitterness, and with some licorice in the back. Medium length finish. Quite decent this one, but lacks a bit on character. 150808

Bottle 500ml. [ As Hornbeer Broder Rus ].Clear medium to dark red - brown amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, burnt caramel, moderate yeasty, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, candy, burnt caramel, yeast, tart prunes, sugary, smoked yeast notes.
