Keg at the Joker, 26/04/17. Black with a light tan head. Nose is spice, charr, chocoalte, toffee. Taste comprises roast malt, raisins, dark chocolate bite, toasted brown sugars, light coffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough stout.

Keg at London Beer House. It pours jet black with a small beige head. The aroma is creamy, sweet, sticky, coffee & cream, treacle, vanilla, roasted malt and dried fruits. The taste is bitter - sweet, roasted malt, milky coffee, vanilla, earthy, toasty and cracked black pepper with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Doesn’t knock my socks off. Decent enough anyhow.
