Keg at the brewpub. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel cocoa powder, taste is sweet, chocolate, liquorice, thin.

Cask at BH&K Highbury, 26/04/17. Light black with a moderate tan cap that soon vanished. Nose is cocoa powder, toffee, tangy fruit notes, sweet and sour. Taste comprises brown bread, light cocoa sprinkle, tarte dark fruit rinds, light spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Not great ... I would have taken this off if I’d been manning the bar.
