Cask gravity at the St Albans Beer festival 2018. A clear reddy. Amber coloured pour with a a loose beige head. Aroma is sticky pine, resinous, orange, some florals. Flavour is composed of tobacco, amber malts, resinous, sticky pine, twig. Palate is semi sweet, sticky, resinous, moderate carbonation. Nice.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 17/03/17. Amber pour with a decent beige covering. Nose is sweet malts, toffee, biscuit, red berry whisper. Taste comprises toasted brown sugar, earthy dark fruit rinds, caramel, cheesecake base. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close splashed with earthy hop bitterness. Fine for the style.

Cask handpump at The Star, Rectory Rd, Oxford, Monday 20th March 2017 gig tonight, Idles at the Bully. Amber in colour with a white filmy head. Fruity with a dab of toffee, mid bitterness, nothing complicated, but I am enjoying this, itโs very pleasant. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
