Happy Harpoon is a Red IPA Loaded with masses of US and Aussie Hops. This gives the beer it’s 70 IBUs of bitterness, it’s fantastic aroma and that lovely hoppy flavour. All this hoppy goodness is rounded off by the beers slightly sweet body provided by a subtle addition of caramel malts

Keg at the Bootlegger, 27/01/17. Golden amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is caramel, light pine, biscuit, bitter orange, splash of grapefruit. Taste comprises caramel malts, orange pith, bread dough, tropical fruit medley. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with earthy hop bitterness. Ok IPA.

Almost clear amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and dry with reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy malts, some caramel. Tangy orange peel. Some awkward tasting hop skunk, slightly off. Floral hop. Trace of hop spice. Slightly messy but the overall experience is not terrible at all.
