Cask sample at the brewery. A nutty amber coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head . Aroma is nutty brown malts, grassy hop, hedgerow hop, berry. Flavour is composed of semi sweet brown malts, nutty, big assertive grassy hop bitterness, grainy. Packs a big hoppy punch. Palate is semi sweet grainy, moderate carbonation. Decent, bit rough round the edges.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 11/12/16. Golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is orange peel, biscuit, straw, light caramel, brown bread. Taste comprises light hop notes, bread dough, biscuit malt, spice, straw, orange rind. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok cask offering.
