Keg at the brewery tap Berkhampstead. A murky brown coloured pour with a lasting thin off white head. Aroma is tangy green apple, stale brown bread, hairspray, plastic, doughy wheat. Flavour is composed of harsh alcohol solvent, flabby doughy grains, , brown bread, banana phenol, chalky finish. Tough going. Palate is spritzy carbonation, doughy, harsh solvent. Pretty bad beer.

Keg at RS HW, 11/12/16. Murky amber brown with a light beige cap that soon dissipates. Nose is tangy fruit esters, clove, banana, bread pudding, mixed spice. Taste comprises dark fruits, but toffee, spice, biscuit, nutty. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok for style ... perhaps a little on the tart side but I’d rather have that than an overly sweet D’weizen.
