Cask at the Triangle Tavern, Lowestoft, 21/11/16. Light chestnut brown meets copper with a well presented off white head that stays for the duration of the half, a picture perfect bitter! Nose is malt forward, biscuit, toffee, fruit rinds. Taste comprises biscuit malt, earthy fruits, brown bread, pinch of tobacco, touch of toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bittering effect. In absolutely top notch condition ... one of the best bitters I’ve had!
