On tap at the brewery. An attractive bright amber pour with a tight cream head; simple malty aroma; sweet nutty malt taste; and an earthy bitterness leaving lingering malts. A well made malty bitter.

Cask at the Thornbury Castle, Marylebone, 28/10/16. Golden amber with a decent off white head. Nose is sweet malt, caramel, biscuit, light fruit esters. Taste comprises toffee, light fruit shreds, caramel, bsicuit, airy malts, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a restrained bitter edge. Mellow cask offering, not going to set my beer world on fire but like most Marlow offerings, well made and drops down easy.
