Cask at the brewpub. Hazy amber beer, patchy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has just modest fine carbonation. Typical tangy Alt malts. Mild and unsweet caramel. Modest ripe fruits. Dry and slightly bitter finish. Lacks condition but it’s not too bad.

Cask at the brewpub. A amber copper coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is sweet nutty malts, brown sugars, toast, subdued malts. Flavour is composed of tangy green apple and sugar water. Nutty twiggy malts. Palate has no condition, sugary water, low carbonation. Waste of tim.

Cask at the source, 04/10/16. Hazed copper with a thin off White head that dissipates edgeward. Nose light fruit esters, straw, biscuit, grains. Taste comprises sweet malts, bread, toffee, grains. Medium bodied, flat and lifeless, semi drying close. Mediocre at best.
