Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe, 30/12/15. Rich amber topped with a decent beige covering. Nose is biscuit malt, light tobacco, bubblegum, earthy hop. Taste comprises caramel, brown bread, biscuit crumble, airy malt, light vanilla. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close dashed with earthy hop bitterness. Decent amber ... Lord knows why they describe this as pale ale on the clip !?
