Cask gravity at the brewery on XT Brewery Club Members evening, Thursday 1st December 2016 Pours dark brown edging with a decent clarity. This has been cask aged for a year at the brewery apparently, so some of the usual flavours present in this have probably been superseded. I found it mostly tangy and fruity the coffee seems to have lost its edge and not quite as smooth as it probably once was. Fine though, if a bit cold, like many of the others here tonight. Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol, 9/12/2015. Dark brown, with a thin, beige, head. Coffee aplenty, with some sweet dark fruits, a hint of vanilla and toasty finish. Good.

Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe, 16/12/15. Mahogany brown with a decent khaki cap that retains well. Nose is biscuit, toffee, sweet malt, coffee, earthy, light spice. Taste comprises coffee cake, cocoa powder, toffee, light spice, brown bread, fruit loaf. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light charr and earthy roast. Decent easy drinking coffee affair.
