Keg at the brewpub, Asheville, 17/02/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent light tan swirl and edgeing. Nose is toffee, cocoa powder, vanilla, light spice. Taste comprises chocolate, biscuit notes, light spice, dark malts, vanilla essence, toffee, raisens. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough stout.
