Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6

Cask at EBF XX, EUSC, 02/04/15. Pitch black topped with a decent tan swirl. Nose is light roast, charr, dark malts, fruit rinds, spice, bitter chocolate. Taste comprises light pine, charr, bitter dark chocolate, earthy. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a touch of hop bitterness. Ok drinkable number but lacking in hops.

2nd April 2015
20th Egham Beer Fest. Cask. Opaque black - brown beer, bubbly tan head. Palate is light and semi dry and a little crisp. Modest dark malt base. Mild piney hops, light citrus. Clean if somewhat unexciting cask CDA.
