Tap @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured pretty much black in color with a thin espresso head. Aroma is massive, mouthfeel oily and with a good amount of coffee and dark chocolate as well as licorice and roastedness. Some oregano like notes in aroma. Heavy but enjoyable.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Licorice and cedarwood in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel, licorice and cedarwood. Soft herbal notes. Low on carbon.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour - no head, just a shortly appearing ring of tiny beige bubbles. Roasty dark malty and woody aroma, notes of dark chocolate and cedar, a touch of liquoricesome treacle and caramel, some marmite-like spiciness. Taste is dry and sweet-ish, chocolately and slightly roasty, dark malty, woody, spicy, notes of dark chocolate, treacle, liquorice, caramel, cedar, hints of roasted nuts, vanilla, a touch of nougat, some yeasty,peppery, marmite-like spiciness. Full body, oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally sticky palate. Quite rich and complex, nice composition, well matching cedar notes.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Like crude oil in texture. Nose - dark chocolate, dates and molasses. Taste - more dates and molasses. Like wood. Palate - full bodied, sticky texture. Dry long taper on the finish. Overall - very good.
