Bottle from Lekkerbier, St. Nicolaasga. Aroma is sweet roasted malt with wood chips, caramel, fudge, soy sauce, liquorice, syrup, and a touch of coffee. Flavour is sweet with a moderate bitterness. Body is full. Sweet and syrupy with liquorice and wood, very nice.

Malmö February Tasting@Palace Hall (25/02/2023) - dark roasted malty with lots of chocolate, some caramel and toffee sticky sweetness, full bodied, slick mouthfeel, dark lingering malty close. Very nice.

Clear black beer, small creamy beige head, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots and lots of tonka beans up front, lots of vanilla as well, caramel, chocolate notes, very intense, nice! MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, alcohol, bit sugary, lots of roasted malts, chocolate, spicy, malty, caramel notes, tonka beans, more chocolate. Aftertaste: dry, good roast, vanilla, lots of tonka, spicy, dry, alcohol, bitter finish. Nice one!

330ml bottle brought back home from La Botica de la Cerveza in Malaga. Oily pour revealing a deep black body, shiny naked surface and scattered lacing on the glass. Inviting smell of smoothly roasted chocolate with a vanilla touch. Rich flavour character of oily chocolate and liquorice on a backbone of molasses. Rounded chocolate malty ending, long-lived and mouthfilling. Well pleased with this one. (Rating session with Imojoh, djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 15.04.2020).
