Cask at the London Brewers Market. Pours ruddy brown with a bubble off-white head. Grass and leafy pine in the nose. Light sweet flavor with some grainy malts, leaves, pine, earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Finishes with more toasted grains, moist earth. Fine.

Gravity dispense at London Drinker BF ’15, day 2, 12/03/15. Mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is biscuit, cocoa powder, light hop presence, earthy, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises spice, biscuit, chocolate, earthy, dirt, dark fruit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok mild, not too much in the way of hops, perhaps not a bad thing in terms of keeping it true!
