Keg at the SD taproom, 12/11/14. Black with a moderately appointed tan head that clears to the edge. Nose is brandy snap biscuits, cocoa powder, raisens, dark fruit, liqourice, spice. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, barrel age effect well evident with a light brandy restraint, dark fruits. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with lightly warming alcohol. Decent BA impy, good balance, drinks below the ABV, best beer on show at the taproom by some distance.
