Keg at the Solana Beach taproom, 14/11/14. Chestnut brown with a decent beige swirl. Nose is banoffee pie, spice, banana, vanilla, clove, dark fruit whisper. Taste comprises bitter fruits, caramel, biscuit, light yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, bitter rinse in the close. Decent Dunkelweizen, not too sweet, nicely tempered bitterness.

Draft at the brewery taproom - Solana Beach. Pours clear amber-brown with a bubbly tan head. The nose has ripe berries, yeast and toasted wheat. Medium sweet flavor with some ripened berries, a bit of dark wheat read, grapes. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with more toasted wheat and berries. Simple and somewhat tasty. Lacks a bit of condition, though.
