[2/24/15] Draught at Burnside Brewing in Portland. Clear dark amber-brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, candy, fruit and a licorice note. Sweet flavor with caramel, candy, licorice, some fruitiness and an alcohol note. Creamy mouthfeel.

Keg at the brewpub, 08/11/14. Mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is toffee, light roast, spice, earthy rub, sweet notes, biscuit malt. Taste comprises sweet toffee, brown sugars, light cocoa, sticky dark candied fruits. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sweet underbelly. Ok offering.
