Flaske fra Gulating Jekta Tromsø. Farge klar mørk gylden med hvitt lett skum som daler fort. Lukt humle, karamell. Smak av humle, frukt, litt søtlig, bitter i ettersmaken. God øl

0.33l green bottle. Just smelling this makes me suspect that this is the same beer as all the other that has come out from this brewer. It smells absolutely horrible. Skunky cabbage with an earthy soil undertone that just puts me totally off the idea if even drinking this. In the name of science I will take a sip. Yeah, what to say really? It's just plain old horrible. How this has made its way in to way way to many Norwegian groceries is to me a mystery. Like a man once said: meh, crap. 12.09.2015

Flaske 330ml spandert av Rune. Delt på Nerstranda 14 Okt 15. Lys gyldenbrun. Middels høyt tett & stabilt skum. Litt filigranser. Rik fruktaroma. Eple. Smaken lik. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert.

330ml bottle picked up at Gulating in Trondheim. Clear dark golden body. Low but stable white head. Spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malty sweetness. Sweet brown malty taste with a backdrop of leafy hops. Dry malt-fruity ending. Rounded on the swallow. Accepted (shared with Finn at his place, Tromsø 14.10.2015).

Fonefan 280215. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, apple. Flavour is fruit, malt, apple, caramel, grass. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Flaske fra Gulating Arendal: klar gylden med ok skum. Litt aroma av malt og lett syrlig humle. Smaken ditto. fint karbonert. Lett bitterhet og kort avslutning. Kjedelig. Hadde den bare hatt mer humle i aroma og smak...

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, herbal and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long grassy and herbal finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily. carbonation is soft.

Bottle 330ml. @ Carnival Tasting 2015, Denmark. [ As Gulating Vikingr Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, cardboard, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, cardboard, vegetables, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150228]

Bottled@fonefan. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, saltwater,s ome herbs. Flavour is strange floral notes, mild grains and some slight salty and sulphury notes.
