Cask at the Euston Tap, 02/09/14. Clear light golden with a well appointed white covering that stays for the show. Nose is bitter hops, melon, orange pith, mineral notes, light pee, tangerine. Taste comprises bitter citric peel, smoke, straw, pissoi, bitter orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a hoppy wash. Quite a bitter bastard for the ABV.

Cask at the Euston Tap. It pours clear straw yellow with a small white head. The nose is earthly, pungent hop, oily, grassy and pithy citrus. The taste is rather bitter, lemon peel, grapefruit, straw, hop astringency, earth and grass with a very drying finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Very raw bitterness to it. Not the most elegant APA out there and rather drying. OK, but I couldn’t drink too much of it.
