Cask at the Rake, 07/02/14. Lightly hazed amber with reddish hues and a thin off white head that clears to the ege. Nose is biscuit malt, earthy hop twang, light tropical notes, red grapefruit, toffee. Taste comprises earthy hops, biscuit crumble, caramel, red grapefruit, straw, bread dough, malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying closure. Ok easy drinking affair, probably the best of the Brains Craft beers I’ve had.
