Tap at Tria, Washington Square PHL, 30/11/13 last beer of the afternoon prior to boarding the red eye to the smoke. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is smoked malt, caramel, sweet tones, smoke dominates, light bread dough. Taste comprises smoked malt, Frazzles, straw, sugars, fruit cake, smoked gammon, smoke dominanted and sweet. Medium bodied with a pair o’bollocks, fine carbonation, sweet and smokey conclusion. Smoked meets sweet ! Decent for the style - could also have gone in as a smoked beer.
