Bottle on the train from Thurso to Inverness, big thanks to DT for saving this Blue Monkey Whale for me, 20/10/13. Mahogony brown with a thin light tan covering. Nose is bitter hops, earthy, cocoa, pine, tropical fruits, grapefruit. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, dank hops, earthy cocoa, light roast, pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in a drying climax. Nice CDA !
