Cask at the George on the Strand, 17/09/13. Clear chestnut brown with a light beige head that soon dissipates. Nose is a little thin, bready malt, orchard fruits, bread dough. Taste comprises light toffee, apple core, summer fruit, bready malts, faint orange flavour. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation a little on the flat side, light bitterness in the finish. Average bitter.

Cask handpull at Simple Simons, Canterbury. Copper, thin off white head. Yeast/malt aroma. OK fruit in mouth, bit of polish, some almond nuttiness. Good fruit, strawberry towards the end, bit of spice. Odd mix of flavours. Bit of green apple throughout.
