Draught. This is the oak aged variant. Black pour with light thick tan head. Much lacing. Evergreen aroma. Flavour is balanced hop and malt with a small oak note. This is not a hop bomb nor a barrel buller. Pleasant hop finish.

[2/27/15] Draught at Lucky Labrador Brew Pub in Portland. As Cascadian Dark Amber. Brown. Aroma of caramelly and biscuity malt, and piney hops. Sweetish flavor with caramelly, biscuity, and slightly nutty malt, piney hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Tap at Lucky Lab, Hawthorne PDX, 26/05/13. Dark mahogony brown with a thin beige head. Nose is light roast, hops, touch of pine, malts. Taste comprises malt, biscuit, light roast, touch of hops, hint of tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter roast in the finish. Pretty weak for a Black IPA, drinkable but more porter-esque.
