Sampled from the tap at Bier Stein. Pours a clear copper with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of spicy peppers with a bread backbone. Flavor has jalapeño peppers throughout with a light grain backbone.

Draught at Apex, Portland
Amber color, dull hue. Light chiles and caramel aroma. Flavor? N/A, covered by a strong habanero hotness.
Not a beer.
I drank it. But what’s the purpose?

On tap at Growler Guys. Pours slightly hazy amber with some beige foam. Taste is on the very high end of the spicy scale. 9/10. Not as bad as Cave Creek or Crime and Punishment by Stone, but still pretty fuckin spicy. Lots of pepper flavor, some caramel, apple, toast. Hot damn. Aroma is pepper, gun metal, caramel. Nice stuff for pepper beer fans.

From a growler from teh Bend brewery. Light amber with a light sweet malty aroma. Fruity and like the previous rater said, very little hint of the pending inferno. First sip is sweet and smooth, and just about the time your swallow triger activates...its "flame on" and it leave a burning vapor trail all the way down. Very spicy and peperary. I would have guessed serranos maybe not habeneros. But it was a huge burn. Well dont and glad I had one but I couldn’t buy a pint or a bottle and drink the whole thing.

Tap at Boneyard, Bend, 23/05/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent sized off white head. Nose is pale malt, dark fruit, light spice, herbal notes - nothing much to prep/warn you for the fire to come ! Taste packs a big habanero bite, green chillies, pepper, malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, big spicy finish. Does what it says on the tin, delivers a big chilli kick in the face. One of the hotter chilli beers I’ve had, tingling mouth for a good few minutes after drinking. Sampler was more than adequate and one or two in my party couldn’t kill the sampler !
