Cask at the Half Moon, Windlesham, 21/04/13. Dark mahogony brown with a thin beige head that retains well. Nose is dark malt, cocoa, sugars, berry fruit, hops. Taste comprises light pine, Ribena, mineral tones, salted chocolate caramels, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation lending towards a dry finish with some hop bitterness. A rather decent black IPA.
