This double barrel-aged barleywine was aged in Elijah Craig rye whiskey barrels and was finished in another set of freshly emptied Elijah Craig rye whiskey barrels. 500mL bottle. Pours clear dark brown. Strong malt, rye whiskey, nuts, sweet malts on the nose; very nice. Flavour has great barley character, nice rye whiskey, a bit nutty, caramel sweetness; not a whole lot of booziness. This is fantastic.
