Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and has a light minerally crispness. Slightly thin dark malts but with reasonable malt cream and a very reasonable dark chocolate vibe. Modest coffee. Barrel character brings a little wet wood and thin but satisfying fruity ripe bourbon. All comes together very well. A light beer with a light but effective barrelling. Very good indeed.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark opaque brown pour with a thin beige head, aroma has big spice and bourbon, taste has chocolate, spice, bourbon edges.
