A North Yorks version of the US West Coast hop-forward IPA. Bitterness is balanced by malt sweetness in our IPA and dry-hopping rounds out the aroma. Multiple hop types in this one, to justify the 'sunshine-in-a-glass' claim. Just what you need to brighten a grey winter (or even summer!) day!

44cl can from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours loaded amber, medium transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is hoppy, malty, slightly spiced. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, with a bit of biscuity sweetness. Final is average.

Can 44 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a rough, off-white head. Biscuity malt aroma with dusty hops. Medium body, again biscuity malts, lowish carbonation with rather generic bittering hops. 270525

440ml can and my first from this brewery. Cloudy amber with small white head. Malty, pine and citrus aroma. Bitter, caramel, pine, lime in the flavour. Bitter hoppy pine resin finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Surprisingly old style malty amber IPA and with a name like Sunshine you expect something less resinous and much more light in nature. Still its ok.

Cloudy pale amber with a frothy white head and a slightly hoppy and fruity aroma. Unfortunately served just a little bit warm, it's malty, just a hint of pine, sweet orange notes and subdued bitterness

Hazy golden beer, thick white head. Fruity aroma with a little hop. Flavour is the same. Grassy hop, some bittersweet citrus, malty and with a bit of caramel, maybe some oats in there too, certainly something which feels like it's making it a bit smoother. Quite bitter in the finish. Very drinkable.

From keg at Furley & Co, Hull, East Yorkshire, with OGJ 05.01.18. Clear orange. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of Sevilla marmalade, malt and sweet citrus. Medium citrus bitterness is lingering on.
