A handshake for Hells and a high-five to USA, this takes our classic lager and slams Stateside hops at it for an Atlantic-crossing home-run of juicy citrus fruit.

Hazy with big foam, bright citrus and tropical fruit aroma, pithy bitterness and amazing hop freshness: it’s got the beautiful lightness of lager countered with a big hit of hops.

We love American hops and we love Hells Lager and wanted to smash the two together. The result is probably the most delicious beer we’ve ever brewed. It’s just about the most bangable beer you’ll ever have.

Malt: Pilsner
Hops: Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Citra, Simcoe

Keg at the brewery bar. Pale blond colour with white creamy head. Aroma is initially very fruity, lots of citrus hops. Fades to wheaty graininess. Taste is very crisp, lots of wheat and quite creamy. Second glass seemed much more fruity, with elements of peach. Nice alternative to the regular Hells and good on a unusually warm March evening. --- Beer merged from original tick of Camden Town USA Hells Unfiltered Lager on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Draught at the brewery. Slightly unclear yellow color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly wheat, lightly hops, hayish, lightly bitter. Different from the other helles because of the hops. Decent body and carbonation.
