opalescent orange to amber colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish ecru head; aroma of chardonnay wine, woody, some dried cherry, acetic acidy and minimal acetone notes; taste is similar to the aroma with some malty sweetness; really good one

Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris
Dark amber color, clean, with small head, short persistence. The first whiff is delicate and vinous, leaving space later to some caramel, candi sugar, oak. The body is slimmer than expected; caramel flavor with very moderate sweetness, the alcohol perception is a bit too much, it has nevertheless an additional dimension given by the wine barrel.
Pleasant, but a bit boozy, not fully satisfying.
