bottle @ újbudai sörszaküzlet (budapest) copper body, average carbonated, normal body, smells like smokey, tastes like a traditionally sausage liquid, spicy paprika, garlic, cumin, with some bready taste, it's a weird hungarian masterpiece, but it works :)

0.33l bottle. Clear copper body with a thin white head. Kinda weird but it's redicluously close to the character of a Hungarian sausage. Lots of smoke and paprika with notes of garlic, cumin and some bready malts. On April's Fools' Day the brewery announced that they'll release a sausage tasting beer. I thought it's a joke. Not that they actually released it, but it really does taste like a sausage. Even more weird that it works. I wouldn't really drink this every day. But it's still nice.

clear amber colour, minimal beige-ish head; aroma and taste of burned sunflower seeds, paprika, ash - just like a Hungarian 'Kolbász' :) I like it very much! thank you very much for sharing, kapusil!

0,33 bottle. Nézzük a kis füstöset :) Bronzos-barnás érdekes szín, kitöltéskor krémszínű, majd eltűnő hab. Az illata érdekesebb, mint az eddig kóstolt társai. Igazából összehasonlító tesztként jobban le lehetne írni, de a lényeg az, hogy ezen nem csak a füstösséget érezni (esetleg gyümölcsösségget), hanem inkább tényleg egy "kolbászt", amit valószínűleg a paprikának, és egyéb hagyományos fűszereknek köszönhetünk. Egyedibb így, azaz teljesen magyaros. Nem olyan mint pl. a német híres füstölt-sör márka illata. Tetszik. Már az első korty után jól érezhető a csípősség is, maga a sör friss, jól iható, némi gyümölcsösség is érződik ivás közben. Nem túl testes, de ízek vannak bőven, ami miatt ez nem tűnik fel. Miután lecsúszott, markánsan marad a chili, és az érzet, hogy egy jóféle füstölt kolbászt eszünk éppen. Nekem kicsit szúrósan szénsavas volt, de lehet hogy ez jobban ihatóvá teszi. Teszt-fázisú darab. A tesztelők közül többen írták, jó lenne ha megmaradna. Ha nem is nagy volumenben, de igazi hungarikumként lehetne építeni rá. A smoked-kategóriában pedig bőven megállja a helyét. Jó volt :) (Talán egy picit kevesebb szénsavval és egy kis változtatással a pihentetés során, egy tartósabb habot is lehetne rá szerkeszteni. Bár ebben nem vagyok biztos, hiszen én még nem használtam ilyen frankó fűszereket eddig :)

Let's look at the little smokey one :) Interesting bronze-brown color, cream-colored when filling, then disappearing foam. The smell is more interesting than its peers tasted so far. Actually, it could be better described as a comparative test, but the point is that you can feel not only the smokiness (possibly fruity), but rather a real "sausage", which is probably due to the paprika and other traditional spices. It is more unique this way, i.e. completely Hungarian. Not like, for example, the smell of the famous German smoked beer brand. I like it. The spiciness is also noticeable after the first sip, the beer itself is fresh, easy to drink, and some fruitiness is also felt while drinking. It is not very full-bodied, but there are plenty of flavors, which is why this does not stand out. After it has slipped down, the chili remains prominent, and the feeling that we are eating a good smoked sausage. It was a bit too carbonated for me, but maybe that makes it more drinkable. It's a test-phase piece. Several of the testers wrote that it would be good if it were kept. Even if it's not in large volume, it could be built on as a real Hungarian classic. And it holds its own in the smoked category. It was good :) (Maybe with a little less carbonation and a little change during the resting process, a more lasting foam could be created. Although I'm not sure about that, since I haven't used such frank spices before :)
