Gravity dispense at EBF ’18, 10/08/14. Hazed golden orange with little in the way of a head. Nose is wheaten bread, yeast esters, light spice, hint of citric peel, clove. Taste comprises more wheaten bread, orange peel, lemon rind, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close laced with yeast notes and subtle spice. So so.

Cask, gravity at the brewery, Long Crendon, Bucks, Tuesday 29th July 2014 Tried two versions of this with Russ, brewer. The first from cask was hazy gold/orange in colour with a bubbly fast departing white head, twangy in the mouth, fruitier than expected perhaps the orangey elements were showing, but a refreshing wheaty beer all the same. The second was poured from a plastic bladder and had dropped brighter, colour the same but clarity better, tastewise perhaps a little cleaner but still with a notable fruity twang, refreshing though.
