Pale golden colour, white head. Light sour aroma, malts, light straw. Quite sour flavour, quite herbal. Malty finish, sour, citrus. Bit strange.

Pours a hazy yellow color. Aroma and flavour of malt, fruit, oak, caramel and alcohol.

Bottle 750ml. @ RBESG 14 Grand Tasting at Moncada Brewery, Unit 1 Middle Row, Kensal Town, Greater London, England W10 5AT. [ As Duckstein Braukunst Edition 2013 ]. [ Bottle #692/3000 ]. Unclear matt medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, light silage. Flavour is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a long duration, grain, pale malt, fruity, light silage - green grass. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140809]

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014 Moncada Brewery. Translucent , pale yellow coloured pour with a small white halo of head. Aroma is base malts, pils, bit og honey and a touch of apple. Bit of nutmeg. Flavour is light spice, cinamon, base malts, bit of straw and apple.. Palate is sem-sweet, lowish carbonation.

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy aroma with weak hints of caramel. Fruity malty spicy weak yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy finish with hints of caramel.

Bottle #0692 shared at the RBESG ’14, Grander Tasting @ Moncada, 09/08/14. Hazed golden yellow with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tarte citrics, straw, pale malts, bread dough. Taste comprises much the same. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff.

Bottle 704, danke Max via Günther! Weird phenolic fruity nose and oxidized Port. Cloudy yellow with floaties despite having been in the beer-fridge upright for two weeks, low white head. Full on barrel flavors, vanilla/oak/cigars, light fruitiness, honestly hardly anything left from the base beer. Medium full mellow body. Quick honey/fruit finish. Not every experiment works, and selling this one off for a premium honestly is a disgrace.

Bottle(#0685 of 3000):Golden, a bit hazy, some floaties visible, small and stable white head with a little lace; weak, but still well detectable barrique-like ("woody") aromas in the pale-malty to sweet-grainy nose; nearly moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 7.1%; lingering "woody" finish with a certain fruity acidity. Not great, but,regarding the intended price of 30€ per bottle, a real bargain…
