When trying to come up with our 4 core range of keg and bottled beer, I knew we needed something crisp and tasty. I tried lots of different styles, and was pretty close to a pilsner before this bad boy turned up. Crispness of a lager and body of an ale, a pint ready to save the day. It is a lager but not a lager.

Keg at the brewpub, Brighton. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is eggy, acrid bread. Taste had bready lager malts and hedgerow fruits. Like a stock supermarket bitter.
