Our 8th year of our classic Snowbirds collab with our friends at J. Wakefield. We condition this bourbon BA imperial stout with delicious Marcona almonds, raw macaroon cut coconut, toasted coconut flakes and cacao nibs.

Bottle at Fox Hollow! Pours inky black, minimal head, no lacing. Aroma is rich, boozy, whiskey, vanilla, fudge, toasted coconut. Flavor is quite sweet, medium bitter. A bit hot. Full body, silky mouthfeel good.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Flat black pour with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Bourbon, malt, coconut and vanilla in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of bourbon, oaky vanilla, toasted coconut and chocolate malt. The finish is oaky and sweet with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Draft at Other Half DC. Poured a pitch black color, motor oil velvet smooth. Small head. Aroma was big bourbon, whiskey heat. Smooth chocolate, roasted malts. Candy - almond, coconut. Really nice stuff.

On tap at Other Half - Domino Park, pours jet black with tiny brown head. Aroma is full of toasted almonds upfront, with the coconut further back, and some fermented out dark sugars; there�s some woody bourbon further back. Flavour is very rich, with tons of almond and coconut, light cocoa, and big bourbon barrels. Silky smooth palate, with the almonds and bourbon dominating. Excellent.
