TCBW2025. Thanks TBone! Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, some syrup and mild soy sauce with wood and some sweet alcohol tones to it. Flavour is coffee, chocolate, some syrupy tones with mild nuts and some slight wooden and vanilla tones. Alcohol does give a slight burn, but is not ruining the flavour.

Notes from 12/4/24. On tap in my old neighborhood in Queens. This building used to be nothing, unoccupied for decades. Black & shiney, seemingly still stemware pour. Nose is all chocolate & whiskey. Lots of chocolate. So fumy. Bittersweet, oily chocolate, smooth but strong bourbon coating dominates, breakfast cereal, very mellow caramel sweet coffee entrails. Not much whiskey complexity, as the bourbon is so forward. Some oxidation on the finish. Low to no carb, thick & coating, big belly burn. A touch overrated but still very doable. I preferred the sweet banana drip.

On tap at Proletariat, pours black with almost no head. Aroma has intense coffee, bourbon barrels, cocoa, and some booze. Flavour is extremely complex, with intense bourbon and whiskey barrels, deep coffee, and dark cocoa. Wonderful barrel aging and coffee characters. Huge flavours and very complex and refined. Excellent.
