Waxed bomber, 2023 vintage picked up at Tapped, Mill Creek. Celebrating these guys if I don't get a chance to have another Boundary Bay brew before they close up. Dark jet black pour. Thin active head. Aroma is a touch balsamic, mild cocoa, raisin. Flavor greatly differs from the aroma, with a ton of coconut up front. Cool chocolate bar, coconut, with a tootsie roll finish. Touch of cinnamon, a little barrel. A bit sweet. Ultimately unique brew.

On tap at Boundary Bay, pours a clear dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is full of bourbon barrels, vanilla, cocoa, and gentle sugars. Flavour is hot, with lots of bourbon, floral perfumey notes, and vanilla. Very light palate, with a nice bourbon espresso. Nicely constructed, soft palate. Good stuff.
