Gas station can from LDB. Hazy amber, with a thin head. Overripe stale fruit - they used their best hops in this, no question. And because it's LDB it was canned 7 months ago. Fuck yeah. Boozy, a bit sticky, with moderate bitterness and some peachy hop notes. Kind of a mess, and I'm guessing freshness won't change that all that much, given how much alcohol you get at the price point.

Orange juice mostly and some grapefruit. But orange. Because they added orange juice. Ok if you are into fruit IPAs. I'm not. Mostly sweet finish with some booze. Some bitterness. Super tall can.

568mL can, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has a ton of stone fruits, candied orange, some gummy bears, and light citrus hops. Flavour has lots of juicy stone fruits, some candied orange peel, citrus hops, and some light resins. Actually pretty nicely juicy, like how hazies should be. What this lacks in hops it has in juiciness. It's pretty solid really, especially for Phillips, even though it's not really what I want in an IPA.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver; tag 24apr2025
Hazy to cloudy blond colour. Instant orange smell as the can is open; indeed, orange aroma. Good body, lean, moderately sweet; some sweet wheat bread, but thankfully no starch; bit of orange juice, a hint of papaya, low bitterness, but the alcohol punch seems to make up for the lack of bitterness. It's a fair offering from Phillips, a decent boozer.
