On tap at Cycle, pours jet black with a small dark brown head. Nose is full of rich dark coffee, a hint of green pepper, strong bourbon, and burnt sugars. Flavour has bold dark roasted espresso, a tinge of green pepper, huge bourbon, and burnt brown sugar. Sticky, oily, coffee-dominated, wrapped in huge bourbon and sugars. As I said about the regular DCB DBR, this doesn't strike me as peak Cycle, but it's still very good.
